Getting Connected at Faith!

At Faith Covenant Church, everybody “knows your name”. By that, we mean we are intimate, personal, and friendly. A family, really. When you come to Faith Covenant for the first time, you will be welcomed as a friend, regardless of where you are in life’s journey.

One unique characteristic about Faith Covenant is that it includes people of all ages who are active and involved in the life of the congregation. You will see this from the moment you walk in the door. From our youngest newborn to the most elderly, each person is connected, and we believe that it takes everyone- at all stages- to build this special community.

Enjoyable activities and spiritual growth opportunities abound for all people, regardless of age. Whether or not you are a long-time member to first-time attendee, there will be opportunities for you and your family to both connect and serve. The following are just a few:

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES: A variety of adult classes, presented by gifted teachers, are held throughout the school year on Sunday mornings, following worship, at 10:45am. Children, ages 2 through High School, are also in Sunday School classes at this time, which are taught by dedicated, year-long teachers.
PRAYERS OF FAITH: On Sunday at 11:30, adults meet in the sanctuary for intercessory prayer. The prayer needs are e-mailed to other congregation members on Tuesday. We are a praying congregation.
SMALL GROUPS: Small group participation is a vital part of spiritual and relational growth at Faith. A variety of small groups in various formats meet throughout the week, usually in homes.
FOX RIVER CRUISE: The cruise is a relaxing way to get to know others and enjoy the river. For adults only, the cruise is held the first Sunday evening after Labor Day from Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles.
EASTER EGG HUNT: Annually, we gather together and invite the community to join us as we hunt for Easter Eggs: rain, snow, or shine!  Bounce castle, face painting, and a simple gospel message.
MEN’S BREAKFAST: The men at Faith meet the third Saturday during the school year. A hearty breakfast is provided, and speakers encourage men in their walk.
HARVEST DINNER: This October dinner provides an opportunity to express thanks to God for his blessings during the past year.
ADULT CHOIR: Begins its season September 16. There is always room for more singers. No auditions. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7 pm.
POLO EVENTS: For Parents of Little Ones.  Fun, Social Activities are held monthly. Child care is provided.  Come join us for some adult conversation while your children are cared for and play with each other!  Contact Heather Karlson for more information!
PRIME TIMERS: For people 55 and better. Activities are held monthly.
CHRISTMAS DINNER: This festive dinner begins the Christmas season. People decorate their own table & invite friends to join them.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Children come together and also invite their friends as we provide a week-long, evening VBS program! Dinner is provided before the program begins each evening, and it’s a blast!!!
