Children & Family Ministries
Walk through the halls of Faith Covenant church and one of the first things you notice is that Faith Covenant is a place for children. Infants, toddlers, preschoolers and grade-schoolers all have their special niche in the family of Faith as they learn more about God and grow closer to Him.
Cry Room
We want everyone to be able to worship at Faith Covenant. If you are nursing mother or if feel your son/daughter is a bit too ansy during the service, but still want to participate, don't worry! We have recently constructed a "cry room" which allows you and your child to participate in the service but in a bit more private area. The room has a large 6.5' by 8' "one-way" window that allows you to look out at the service, but others can not see in!
Child Care
Care for infants and children through age 4 is provided for during the worship service. Care for infants (through age 2) is also available during the Sunday School hour and for special events.
Young Children and Worship
Children in grades Preschool through 2nd are dismissed before the sermon on Sunday morning to attend Young Children and Worship. This allows them to worship God both in the whole congregation and in age-appropriate ways.
Sunday School
Sunday School classes are held each Sunday morning during the school year at 10:45 a.m. for children age 2 and older. Bible-based curriculum is used and caring teachers provide a model of faith.
