T.A.G. Team Seminary

What is T.A.G. Team Seminary

T.A.G. Team Seminary is our adult spiritual formation program. It has been built with the idea that all believers are to grow in their biblical knowledge. In fact, this is one of the pillars of the Covenant tradition. The early Covenanters would ask each other, “Where is it written?” as they sought to study Scripture and base their faith on God’s word.

We hope that T.A.G. Team Seminary will help all our adults to systematically study Scripture and grow in their faith so that we might be able to answer the other pillar question of the Covenant church, “How goes your walk?”.

T.A.G. stands for Teaching, Articulation, and Growth. The “tag team” play on words is intentional. Like a “tag team” that tags its teammates for help, we believe that the church works as a “tag team” as we study together, share our faith, and grow in community. Finally, we have labeled it “seminary” in recognition that most of the teachers you will be hearing from are seminary trained and in some cases have taught graduate-level work.

Our Goal

The ultimate goal of T.A.G. Team Seminary is that over the next three years you will study the Old and New Testaments, theology, church history, and even have the opportunity to take a few electives. There will be a T.A.G. Team diploma for those who regularly attend and participate in these studies. Won’t you take time to join us each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. for this special time of teaching?

Old Testament Survey Class

This fall we will be going through an Old Testament survey taught by Zack Zboncak. Zack is working on a Master’s Degree in Old Testament from Talbot Seminary. Come join us at 9:15 am each Sunday morning for an hour of learning and group discussion on how the Old Testament is relevant to our lives today. If you would like to receive the weekly emails of course materials or have any questions at all, please reach out to Zack Zboncak at for more information.
