Children’s Ministries

Children are a welcome and central part of our community, our journey and our learning; they join in our community activities in age-appropriate ways.  We are keenly aware that children go through stages of growing, so we have provided avenues for them to be cared for, to learn about the story of God and how God has created each unique individual to be a part of this amazing story! Our mission with children of all ages is to equip them to grow in their knowledge of the bible and in their personal faith and relationship with our Lord as they grow.

There is complete care for infants and children under three years of age for the entire morning beginning at 9:10 am (10:15 am during the summer).

Children ages 4-1st grade enjoy the first part of the Worship Service with their families before being escorted downstairs by their teachers to participate in a worship service designed especially for them.

9:15 – 10:15am (Sept – May)
Our Sunday school program includes toddlers through High School. It is designed to guide kids from basic bible stories that emphasize God’s love when they are toddlers, through deeper Christian thought. As the children grow they will be exposed to—Old and New Testament overviews, basic theology, church history and missions, bible studies, and topical book studies. Through this journey, the classes have Missionary Biographies, CS Lewis’ Narnia Chronicles, and other Christian novels read to them. Each age level also works on memorizing scripture passages appropriate to their age and ability.
