Our Worship Gathering

We come together on Sunday mornings to worship God and to grow in our walk with Jesus Christ. Worship at Faith Covenant is also a celebration of what God has done and is doing in our lives. We do a few things that shape our worship gathering.

  1. We use the Bible. We read it, meditate on it, teach it, and preach it to shape our lives around the truth of God’s Word.
  2. We use a variety of music. We incorporate a blend of contemporary and traditional music to praise God. We utilize contemporary worship music with a band, choral anthems, and hymns that Christians have sung for centuries. We incorporate guitars, drums, piano, bass, as well as brass, woodwinds, and more. Those who have a gift in music are encouraged to use it!
  3. We use a variety of practices. We utilize prayers, responsive readings, and creeds. We celebrate Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month.
  4. We include children. We have a children’s message during the service and have children participate in suitable roles. For children pre-school age through 1st grade, we have a program called “Young Children and Worship.” Toward the end of our service and before the sermon, children are dismissed to go to “Young Children and Worship” to worship God in an age-appropriate way. Children 2nd grade and up remain in the worship service and are given activities to help them engage.

Come join us for Sunday Worship at 10:30 AM.
