Covid-19 Guidelines Faith Covenant Covid-19 Guidelines. Updated June 2021. We assume everyone will self-monitor (and parents monitor their children) for any Covid or flu-like symptoms and will stay home if any are apparent or if anyone in the household has been exposed to Covid-19. During this trying season, our church leadership invites us all to seek unity and to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” (Eph 4:3). Protocol for Indoor/Outdoor Worship Marks are optional. No pre-registration required. On Sundays, we hope everyone (whether joining us in-person or online) will fill out a digital connect card by checking-in at faithecc.org. If you desire to keep a social distance, there is plenty of room outside and chairs in the sanctuary to space out. The service will also be livestreamed in the lounge during both outdoor and indoor services. Other church events and youth events taking place assume these general guidelines unless otherwise specified. Infants/Toddlers (birth-age 3): Masks are not required for children ages 3 and under. Social distancing is difficult to maintain with young children. Please do not send your child to the Infants & Toddlers room if you are not comfortable with this. We ask volunteers who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask while serving in the nursery. Volunteers and children will use hand sanitizer or wash their hands when entering the room. Volunteers will wash their hands both before and after changing diapers. Any toy that is put in a child’s mouth will be removed and cleaned after the service. Volunteers will wipe tables and door handles after the service. Each parent will have a separate compartment in which to store their supplies. Summer Sunday School (ages 4-1st grade) Faith Covenant Church encourages families to adhere to the current CDC guidelines that recommend face coverings for those not vaccinated. We also understand that some parents do not want their children to be required to wear masks and we will respect their wishes by including these children in the classrooms as well. We will continue to maintain social-distancing practices inside and be outside when appropriate and possible. If your child or family would like to participate but has special considerations in relation to Covid-19, please notify us so we may consider how to best accommodate those needs We ask teachers who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask while they serve during Summer Sunday school. Sunday School takes place in the large Faith Kids rooms in the lower level. Teachers and children will use hand sanitizer when they enter the room.
