The church provides great encouragement for the early adolescent and teen years. At Faith Covenant young people experience positive interaction with their peers, adults who care and opportunities to grow spiritually by applying God’s Word to life. Our goal is to come alongside you as parents as you seek to support your child in finding faith for themselves.
Sunday morning there is Sunday School for Middle Schoolers. While High Schoolers are invited to engage with the adults and serve in the church. Mid-week there is Confirmation for 7th- 8th grade and Youth Group for 9th–12th grade.
SUNDAY SCHOOL meets at 9:00 am, September through May.
This age group begins to delve deeper into the Christian faith, ask important questions, and begin to make their faith their own. Students study the Bible, theology, apologetics and different world views.
Older high school students are encouraged to participate fully in the life of the church body during the Sunday School hour. There are several options–Students are welcome to participate in the 7-8th grade class, join the adult Sunday School class, or help teach the PreK–K Sunday School class, using puppets and playing games to build relationships and communicate God’s love to the little ones in the church.
Sundays, 4:00–6:00 pm (September-May)
Students are discipled into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through relationships, Bible study, worship, and prayer. They are guided on this life long journey as a disciple of Christ by our senior pastor. They are also connected to an adult mentor in the church and choose an area of service as they learn to become serving members of our congregation.
Sundays, 4:00–6:00 pm (September-May. With special activities throughout the summer)
Our mission is to deepen students’ understanding of Scripture and God’s call on each of their lives. We strive to provide every single student with guidance and opportunities that will allow them to walk with God even after they leave High School.
Most Sundays, the students spend the first hour with the confirmation students, playing games and hanging out in a fun comfortable space designed just for them. After a time of worship, they engage in bible study. Newcomers can join in at any time.
The first Sunday of each month, students are encouraged to invite their friends to share a meal and conversation at the nearby home of one of our leader’s. The leader provides topics of conversation, though students can always bring up any topic they desire to discuss deeply and respectfully as a group.
