Compelling Community. Growing Disciples. Reaching Our Neighbors.

Two Ways to Give to the Community

Are you looking for ways to care for those in our community during the COVID-19 pandemic? Below are two simple ways to make a big impact.

Contribute money to the Illinois Food Bank. Every $1 donated enables the food bank to provide $8 worth of groceries to a neighbor in need. Many area food banks purchase groceries from the Illinois food bank at a reduced cost. Click here to give.

Give Blood. Blood donations have slowed as a result of COVID-19. The support of new and current blood donors is critical to maintaining an adequate blood supply for patients. The Center for Disease Control has stated that COVID-19 is not transferred through blood, so neither blood donors or recipients are at risk. Donation sites–Red Cross, Versiti , Vitalant.
