The son of a public school choir director, Ben developed an early love for music as an expression of worship. In addition, Ben holds a B.S. in Mass Communication (McNeese State University), a J.D. (Baylor University School of Law), an M.Div. (Assemblies of God Theological Seminary at Evangel University), and a certificate in Spiritual Direction (SHERPA). His previous work in human resources, learning and development, church planting, pastoral ministry, and spiritual direction has given him a rich foundation for walking with people as they discern God’s presence and purpose in their lives.
At home, Ben and Amanda stay busy with their two energetic boys, a silly dog, and a grumpy cat. He loves cooking, building LEGOs, going to flea markets, and watching old movies. On rainy Saturdays, you will often find him dancing in the kitchen while making a roux for gumbo and listening to old-school gospel.
