A Successful Year of Tiger Breakfast!
This past week was our last Tiger Breakfast of the school year. Our team wanted to say THANKS to all of you who supported this growing outreach effort with your prayers and finances. The WWSHS students love this Wednesday morning event. Anywhere from 150 to 220 students showed up each week to hang out with their friends in the safe space that FCC provides. Again, thanks to you, our church leadership and everyone who supported this neighborhood outreach effort. We can’t wait to see what next year brings! THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered to cook, serve, host, set up, clean up and more! The students felt so welcomed and cared for because of you. (photo from expert pancake-flipper, Stan Austin) |

Park AwayHelp us make room in the parking lot for guests We had 192 people in worship on Sunday!! This means our parking lot was FULL, even with nearly 20 cars parked either on the street or at the Northwestern medical building. If you are able, we encourage you to park outside the parking lot. You can park on Lakeview Dr and Mallard Ct (on the parsonage/church side of the street), and we have permission to park in the Northwestern medical building lot on the corner of Butterfield Rd and Wiesbrook Rd. You can also park at the high school. Areas to park are marked in orange on the map. Thank you for this important way you help us welcome guests! |

Continue to Pray for:
Pray For Our Missionaries/Ministries Outreach has grown and changed over the years, but their core purpose has remained the same of transforming lives and communities by creating opportunities where barriers exist; by loving neighbors in word and deed; and by shining the light of hope on all peoples’ God-given potential. Outreach sponsors five faith-based community service organizations in Wheaton, Warrenville, Carol Stream, West Chicago & Lombard.
Send a word of encouragement to them HERE. Remember to pray for our other missionaries/organizations. For more information about the missionaries we support, click on the link below. For more infomation visit:

Community Board
Thursday Guys: Join me (John Payne) for a time of coffee, fellowship, and interesting conversation on Thursday; May 9 from 8:00-9:00 am at Faith Covenant. Meeting Notices are sent out weekly via email. Please RSVP if interested to john@mail4john.com. We are looking for a used cell phone, working condition or not. Pastor Thompson Does House Cleaning: Do you need help around the house with regular house cleaning? The past few months we have hired Thompson’s cleaning service to clean our house twice a month. It has been a great help in keeping our house clean and ready for guests as well as our fifteen grandchildren! If you would like help with routine house cleaning once a week or once a month, we highly recommend Thompson’s service. Pastor Thompson Gbean is one of the pastors of the Liberian church that meets in our building on Sunday afternoons. He can be contacted at jcsahw@gmail.com or 630-891-0434. Sincerely, Satisfied customers Gene & Barb Frost
