Kids Club meets to give children, K–6th grade, an additional opportunity to have fun with peers while learning about God’s Word and growing in relationship with Christ. Through a partnership with World Relief Chicagoland, we run an English Language Learning tutoring class on Wednesday nights at the same time as Kids Club. from 6:00-7:15 pm.

We’re excited to share that Amy Sparks will be joining our team as our new church administrator in mid May!

She brings strong administrative and communication skills, along with a genuine love for Jesus and His church. We’re grateful for God’s provision in bringing her to us.

Please join us in praying for Amy as she prepares to step into this role, and be sure to give her a warm welcome when she begins.

Susan has been discharged from Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital.  She is currently staying with her son David and family in Crystal Lake. We will keep you apprised of any updates and/or changes.  If you have any questions, please direct them to our pastors or Care Team.

Kevin & Sarah Johnson serve with Mesa Global in Colombia and are currently on study assignment, as Kevin pursues doctoral studies in New Testament at Wheaton College. Please pray for Kevin as he continues writing his dissertation on hope in the book of Hebrews. Presently he is completing a chapter on how hope is viewed outside of Hebrews. Pray for focus in his writing and good health. Sarah is on the board of Deditos, a ministry she served with in Guatemala. She is helping plan a strategy for the search of a new executive director. Pray for the right person to fill the job and wisdom for the board in the hiring process.

Infertility Communication and the Church: My name is Laelle Tuggy, a communications student at Wheaton College, currently taking a Human Communication Research course. Our professor, Dr. Rebecca Sietman, is writing a book about discussing infertility within the church community and has created a survey to help collect data. We would love for you to take part in this research, both by taking the survey and passing it along to other Christians who attend church. The survey is anonymous and completely voluntary.
We believe that the more people who take this survey, the more valuable insights we will gain in addressing this significant issue within our churches.
