Our Worship Gatherings
We come together on Sunday mornings to worship God and to grow in our walk with Jesus Christ. Worship at Faith Covenant is also a celebration of what God has done and is doing in our lives. We do a few things that shape our worship gathering.
  1. We use the Bible. We read it, meditate on it, teach it, and preach it to shape our lives around the truth of God’s Word.
  2. We use a variety of music. We incorporate a blend of contemporary and traditional music to praise God. We utilize contemporary worship music with a band, choral anthems, and hymns that Christians have sung for centuries. We incorporate guitars, drums, piano, bass, as well as brass, woodwinds, and more. Those who have a gift in music are encouraged to use it!
  3. We use a variety of practices. We utilize prayers, responsive readings, and creeds. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
  4. We include children. We encourage children of all ages to participate in our worship service and life together on Sunday mornings. Children are encouraged to serve in various roles according to their age and interests. We have children who serve by reading scripture, being part of a worship team, singing in the choir, being a greeter, helping on a tech team, or helping to prepare coffee.
