Immerse Devotional
When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that you… may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. (From Ephesians, Immerse pg 220) Have you ever tried to talk to someone so bursting with excitement they could hardly get their words out? Or watched a toddler opening birthday presents, or on an Easter Egg hunt, overcome with delight at each new discovery? These are the images that come to mind when I “listen” to Paul in Ephesians. I dare you to try reading this letter aloud, in one sitting, without bursting into a big smile at least once. Paul is just so excited. And no wonder: God has revealed a long-hidden mystery, in Christ. And chosen us! We can see now that God is rich in mercy, and in his love poured out grace and peace upon us. Now none of us are strangers, but citizens, one body, God’s people. This man is in prison, but his enthusiasm for the good news of Jesus keeps bursting out, overflowing. Can you imagine watching Paul dictate this letter? I imagine him starting out calm and clear but getting distracted by excitement, caught up in a fast run-on sentence about the incredible, mysterious truth of God’s love and power, made real and full in us, in Christ—until he’s waving his arms around in doxology. The news is that good friends. Will you take a moment to rejoice in God’s love today? -Catherine McNiel |

Prayer Ministry
Let us know how we can be praying for you or how God has been answering prayers in your life by clicking on the link below! Pray requests: -Praise again for the job God has given me, and praise that the motorcyclist my parents got in an accident with is okay and healing well. Pray I can be growing well in my job and not get overwhelmed as I get more clients. - Elianna Tuggy -My first cousin (Stacey) had open heart surgery this past week to repair a growing aneurysm in his aorta. The extent of the aneurysm was more complex than expected and required a more extensive surgery - nearly 9 hours. Recovery is slow and he continues to experience setbacks in ICU—ongoing internal bleeding requiring several blood transfusions, fluid buildup in his heart and lungs, inability to swallow, and ongoing AFIB. - Ben Franklin -Praise that a lot of behavioral difficulties have lessened. Continued prayers for me to have wisdom in working with the students but also that they might have a change in heart that I might still be able to bless them. - Stephanie Mahn Continue to Pray for: -Sally & Gary Hutchinson -Ben Hayes & the Hayes family (find updates on Ben's CARING BRIDGE page) -John & Wendy Wilson Pray For Our BLESS people: -Jill -John -Gabe Pray For Our Church Family: -Zachs & Grace Gaiya; Hanamel -Haniel Gaiya -Hesed Gaiya -Thompson & Sarah Gbean; Jeremiah, Joelle, and Lilliana -Jason & Cherish Goldman -Diane Goss -Garrett Gutowski Pray For Our Missionaries/Ministries: Outreach has grown and changed over the years, but their core purpose has remained the same of transforming lives and communities by creating opportunities where barriers exist; by loving neighbors in word and deed; and by shining the light of hope on all peoples’ God-given potential. Outreach sponsors five faith-based community service organizations in Wheaton, Warrenville, Carol Stream, West Chicago & Lombard.
- Pray for their service to people through education, mentoring, counseling, transitional housing, youth development, and other family services in their multiple locations. -Pray for the continued success of their high school tutoring program with the addition of more student participants.

Community Board
The Community Board is a space for us to... -Help Finishing Quilt: I have a Twin/full sized completed quilt top, batting, and backing needing to be put together. I’m unable to do it because of my eyesight and I would like to get it completed to give to my niece. I am willing to pay. -Jean Peterson -Kids CDs or tapes to share: I was wondering if anyone has CDs or tapes with kids music that you aren’t currently using? I would love to borrow some music to listen to with the girls, especially Christian music or things that other people enjoyed listening to with their kids. Email me: saraheagee@gmail.com -Sarah Johnson -Book Give Away: If anyone has been wanting to read "THE REASON FOR GOD" by Tim Keller, I am done and will pass it on. -Susan Aarseth -Selling or Donating a Car: My brother-in-law is currently studying at a seminary. Unfortunately, their family's minivan, which they relied on for daily transportation, has recently broken down beyond repair. They urgently need a vehicle to help manage everyday responsibilities, such as attending classes and running errands, but they have very limited funds. If you know anyone who has a vehicle they might be willing to sell or, even better, donate, please reach out to Pastor Zachs, outreach@faithecc.org or 331.236.0316. Your assistance would mean the world to them! Thank you!
