Faith Covenant Church

In light of the recent cuts to SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) funding, many of our neighbors are facing heightened food insecurity. Linked below is a database of local resources if you would like to contribute to the good work these organizations are doing.

Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Warrenville has a food pantry open on Sundays from 1-3 PM and Tuesdays from 11 AM to 1 PM.

For those in our church who are affected or otherwise need financial assistance, Faith Covenant has a benevolence fund. We are here to help. Please reach out to the care team at careteam@faithecc.org.

If you are able to help, please bring one or more of the listed items to donate. You can drop off the items by the Community Hub.

LIFE AT FAITH
- Prayers for energy as I teach in these past weeks before winter break. I've been dealing with a lot of disappointing student behaviors which weigh on me from time to time because I want to see growth and change but often it is slow to come. Prayers over my students that they will see God and who He truly is and that I can be a light and plant seeds in the hearts of my students. Also, prayers for Caleb's nana as she is transitioning to a memory care unit in her nursing home. She needs a lot more care and they are able to provide that but moving is always difficult and no one is able to visit her for 2 weeks while in transition so she will be without family over Thanksgiving. - Stephanie M

Dale & Sara Lusk serve the Evangelical Covenant Church as administrators and coordinators for short term teams to minister around the world. They assist in developing healthy relationships between Covenant Churches and international ministry sites. Dale is the International Director for Global Engagements in the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Praise that we had our first Global Intern successfully complete her internship.
Pray for an increased interest in Global Internships.
Praise for the 400 people registered for Merge trips in 2026. We have three trips coming up over the New Year's holiday.
Pray for amazing trips for all who attend.
Pray for our son, who has autism, as he attempts to learn how to drive. It is difficult to pass the written test when one can’t read.
Pray our daughter will be able to retire her scoliosis brace next spring.
