SNAP ResponseResources and Food Drive In light of the recent cuts to SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) funding, many of our neighbors are facing heightened food insecurity. Linked below is a database of local resources if you would like to contribute to the good work these organizations are doing. Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Warrenville has a food pantry open on Sundays from 1-3 PM and Tuesdays from 11 AM to 1 PM. For those in our church who are affected or otherwise need financial assistance, Faith Covenant has a benevolence fund. We are here to help. Please reach out to the care team at careteam@faithecc.org. If you are able to help, please bring one or more of the listed items to donate. You can drop off the items by the Community Hub.

Blue Christmas ServiceDecember 18, 6:30pm They say Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, but what if it doesn't feel like it? This service is a safe space to reflect and remember the death of a loved one, broken relationships, illness, loneliness, or any other difficult season. Come as you are. Bring your doubt, lament, sadness, and anger. The God of all hope, joy, peace, and love is near to the broken-hearted. He is the light in the midst of this dark world. This service is open to the community. Consider inviting a friend, family member or coworker. May the church be a place for the hurting. |

Please contact Ray Hinsch if interested in attending. Looking for Affordable Housing: Many of you may know that I was looking for new housing arrangements last year before my lease expired. It now has become a necessity to find an affordable place to live. I have lived independently, but at this time would prefer renting a room w/in a home, sharing an apartment w/ someone else you may know, or at the very least a more affordable single studio or one bedroom apartment. The Community Board is a space for us to... Ask to borrow items
