Welcoming Ben Franklin to the Team
This week, Ben Franklin has stepped into the role of Director of Worship and Community Life. Ben is an ordained minister, a certified spiritual director, and a licensed attorney. These qualifications, along with a remarkable blend of ministry experience, organizational leadership, and spiritual depth, make him uniquely qualified for this role. Since 2015, Ben has served as a Senior Learning & Development Specialist at Compassion International. From 2015 to 2020, he also pastored St. Luke’s Assembly of God Church in New Orleans, where he led worship planning, shepherded the congregation, and guided spiritual formation. Prior to that, he played a key role in launching a church plant. Ben deeply resonates with Faith’s approach to worship. Additionally, he and his wife, Amanda, have found meaningful community here. The welcome they received when they first attended in 2021, and their ongoing sense of belonging, is part of what encouraged him to pursue this role. Ben is excited to devote his full-time work to helping Faith live out its mission of "connecting people to life in Christ and community." Having experienced this mission personally, he is eager to create opportunities for others to encounter the same life-giving connection. Welcome Ben to the team at ben@faithecc.org or 630.765.3663. We look forward to what God has in store and welcome Ben with joy and gratitude. |
