The ministries of our church could not happen without each one of you. Thank you for being willing to serve. Please fill out the form to indicate which ministries you are interested in joining or serving. This is a willingness to serve survey, so as our ministry leaders determine areas of need, they will reach out to you. This survey does not commit you to serving nor guarantee that you will be asked to serve in the areas you check off. You do not need to check off roles you are already serving in, but please do indicate other areas of interest!

The Wilds are hosting a summer youth event at their house this Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm that will involve games and grilling. All incoming 6th-12th graders are invited! We hope to see you all there.

Whether you're returning or new to serving, this night is designed to equip you for ministry at Faith, connect you with your team, and align us all around our shared mission. If you are serving in any capacity in the next year, we invite you to come! Let’s start the fall season united in purpose and ready to serve with joy!

**If you volunteer in any ministry with minors, attending this meeting is required. This will be in place of our usual volunteer training and safety policy overview meeting.**

Stay after worship and help us celebrate the launch of our Fall ministry programs. Walk around the Ministry Fair and see ways you can be involved in what’s happening at our church. Participate in lawn games, including our traditional egg toss (come compete against reigning champs Pastor Nate and Kevin Johnson). 

Bring your own meat to throw on the grill, and bring a side dish, fruit, vegetables, or a dessert to share! The church will provide drinks and condiments.

Sunday School is back at 9:15 am and worship will start at 10:30 am. This is a great Sunday to invite a friend! 

Choir Rehearsals start August 27 at 7:00 pm. Talk to Jean Austin if you're interested in joining!

Starting September 7, worship will move back to starting at 10:30 am. Sunday School also begins on September 8 for all ages at 9:15 am. Children and youth classes meet in the downstairs classrooms. Faith Academy meets in Peterson Hall.

Please register your kids and teens for this year's ministries. It helps us plan if we know how many kids or teens to expect! You can fill out one form per family.

Tiger Breakfast is back on September 10! Let Rita Christensen or Mark Pufundt know if you're interested in joining the team or learning more.

Manuel & Loida Barbosa Ramos have been appointed as missionaries of Mesa Global, accepting an invitation to join the faculty at Central American Theological Seminary (SETECA) in Guatemala. Manuel is pursuing Ph.D. studies at Ashbury Theological Seminary.

Praise:

• Manuel passed his Ph.D. comprehensive exams
• Our son placed 3^rd in Bible Quizzing Nationals. His team earned 2^nd place overall.
• Our family’s refreshing rest.

Pray:

• Manuel working on his dissertation proposal and translating a Biblical Aramaic textbook into Spanish.
• Our children’s new school year.
• For our strong relationship with SETECA and for their launch of a Spanish Biblical doctoral program.
• Our extended family in Colombia.

Free Child's Violin: My Grandson forgot to turn in his violin when he was about 9 years old...he’s now 31! He left it at my house when he recently moved out of Illinois. Other than needing one string repaired or replaced, it’s in excellent condition, hasn’t been used since 2009. Would love to donate to someone who could us it. Contact Adora B. for more info.

Looking for work: My name is Laelle, and I’m a student at Wheaton College who is living in the Wheaton area this summer with my best friend Asha.
