The Family Ministries Team wants to hear from you about our various ministries for families, children, and youth. We will be hosting 4 focus groups to offer a time to hear feedback and collect your ideas. You can attend as many of the groups as you want to participate in. Each focus group gathering will have a specific ministry area we will discuss. We will meet in Peterson Hall from 6:00-7:00 pm. Childcare for children ages 10 and under will be in the nursery.

-JULY 28- TOPIC: Sunday School
(children, confirmation, high school)
-AUGUST 5- TOPIC: Youth Group
(discipleship opportunities, incorporating into larger church community)
-AUGUST 6- TOPIC: Kids Club
(format, reach to community, connection with ESL classes)
-AUGUST 11- TOPIC: Sunday Worship
(nursery, Young Children and Worship, incorporating children in worship, children’s sermons, bulletins, overall participation, church being for them)

The ministries of our church could not happen without each one of you. Thank you for being willing to serve. This survey does not commit you to serving nor guarantee that you will be asked to serve in the areas you check off. You do not need to check off roles you are already serving in, but please do indicate other areas of interest!

Whether you're returning or new to serving, this night is designed to equip you for ministry at Faith, connect you with your team, and align us all around our shared mission. Job Summary: The Office and Communications Intern plays a vital role in helping us fulfill our mission by managing and producing high-quality church communications. This includes print and digital publications, social media, the church website and app, and event promotion. The ideal candidate will help people connect to life in Christ and community through creative, clear, and consistent messaging.
Hours: 10 hours/week, September 1st 2025-April 30th, 2026
Compensation: $16/hour. This is a paid internship designed for a student or early-career ministry communicator. Schedule is flexible and can be adapted around academic commitments.

We are at Covenant Harbor for the All-Church Retreat. We will not be live-streaming the service. Join us at 10:30 am for worship at Covenant Harbor.

International Faith Covenant Church is our sister church that meets in our building, led by Pastor Thompson Gbean. They are hosting an anniversary celebration on August 2 and 3, starting at 2:00 pm both days. They will gather here at church. The 2nd will be a BBQ, and the 3rd will be a time of worship and fellowship. If you're around, join the festivities! 

We were delighted that A could be with us in June and share his journey to faith in Christ and share the work that he and M do in Cardiff Wales. For the month of July, we will be collecting encouragement and thank you cards to be hand delivered to them in August. A box is located on the welcome table in the Narthex, along with an envelope to collect British Pounds as a gift for their ministry.

The Missions Team also welcomes you to give an extra gift to their ministry, either through Faith Covenant (clearly designated for A & M M Ministry) or by giving directly to their account at Pioneers (https://give.pioneers.org/home), account number 134032.

Outreach has grown and changed over the years, but their core purpose has remained the same of transforming lives and communities by creating opportunities where barriers exist; by loving neighbors in word and deed; and by shining the light of hope on all peoples’ God-given potential. Outreach sponsors five faith-based community service organizations in Wheaton, Warrenville, Carol Stream, West Chicago & Lombard.

- Pray for their service to people through education, mentoring, counseling, transitional housing, youth development, and other family services in their multiple locations.
-Pray for the continued success of their high school tutoring program with the addition of more student participants.

Looking for work: My name is Laelle, and I’m a student at Wheaton College who is living in the Wheaton area this summer with my best friend Asha. We are looking for some sort of work while she’s here. If you have any odd jobs or know anyone else who does, please let me know.
