New Communications Intern + New Newsletter Email AddressWelcome Anya Miller! We are excited to have Anya Miller as our communications intern this school year. In coordination with Pastor Eliza, she will oversee all of our church communications, most importantly our "Life at Faith" newsletter. Going forward, if you have anything you want to include in the newsletter, please email it to newsletter@faithecc.org. Anya will monitor this account throughout her internship, and this will make it easier, going forward, for whoever is compiling the newsletter to find everything they need in one place. (You don't need to cc the office email or Pastor Eliza. Just email newsletter@faithecc.org, and Anya will see your email!) Because of Anya's schedule, the deadline to submit anything for the newsletter is Tuesday at noon. |

Tiger Breakfast is back!We need a few more volunteers Tiger Breakfast resumes on September 10th!! We are excited to continue this tradition of serving a hot breakfast to the students from Wheaton-Warrenville South High School. Many hands are needed to make this volunteer outreach opportunity possible. We are in need of late-shift kitchen clean-up help (approximately 7:30-8:30 am), which entails washing and putting away the dishes, utensils, and other items used during breakfast. If you are able to lend a portion of your time and talent to this endeavor, please contact Mark Pufundt or Rita Christensen. |

Ministry Interest Survey
The ministries of our church could not happen without each one of you. Thank you for being willing to serve. Please fill out the form to indicate which ministries you are interested in joining or serving. This is a willingness to serve survey, so as our ministry leaders determine areas of need, they will reach out to you. This survey does not commit you to serving nor guarantee that you will be asked to serve in the areas you check off. You do not need to check off roles you are already serving in, but please do indicate other areas of interest! For more infomation visit:

Worship Service Change
Beginning September 7th, we’ll be trying a small change in the flow of our services. Rather than beginning with a gathering song, we’ll start right at 10:30 with a brief welcome that leads directly into our time of congregational music. Our hope is that this helps us enter worship together in a more unified and intentional way. We know the gathering song has often served as a cue that the service is about to begin, so to keep that helpful rhythm, a countdown will appear on the screens in the sanctuary (and on the TVs in the narthex) counting down to the start of the service. Thank you for your openness as we try this adjustment—we trust it will serve our worship well. If you have any questions or thoughts, please feel free to reach out. |
