Stay after worship and help us celebrate the launch of our Fall ministry programs. Walk around the Ministry Fair and see ways you can be involved in what’s happening at our church. Participate in lawn games, including our traditional egg toss (come compete against reigning champs Pastor Nate and Kevin Johnson).

The church is providing lunch: a taco bar! chicken and Steak tacos, fajita veggies for vegetarians, corn tortillas, all the fixings, and watermelon! 

Sunday School is back at 9:15 am and worship will start at 10:30 am. This is a great Sunday to invite a friend! 

The ministries of our church could not happen without each one of you. Thank you for being willing to serve. Please fill out the form to indicate which ministries you are interested in joining or serving. This is a willingness to serve survey, so as our ministry leaders determine areas of need, they will reach out to you. This survey does not commit you to serving nor guarantee that you will be asked to serve in the areas you check off. You do not need to check off roles you are already serving in, but please do indicate other areas of interest!

All youth are invited to join us at the Warrenville Main Event from 6:00-9:00 pm for Bowling, High ropes course, arcades, and pizza. The cost is $15/ person. Bring a friend!

Please stop by our lost and found table in Peterson Hall on Sunday. You never know what you might have left behind at the church recently, and we would love to reunite you with it! Anything left on the table after Sunday will either be donated or thrown away.

Choir Rehearsals start August 27 at 7:00 pm. Talk to Jean Austin if you're interested in joining!

Starting September 7, worship will move back to starting at 10:30 am. Sunday School also begins on September 7 for all ages at 9:15 am. Children and youth classes meet in the downstairs classrooms. Faith Academy meets in Peterson Hall.

The first Faith Academy class is "Burning Questions" with Virginia Johnston. This is not an “ask Virginia anything” class, but a place to explore how the church has wrestled with theological questions over the years. You can submit questions using the link below, and Virginia will do some research! 

Please register your kids and teens for this year's ministries. It helps us plan if we know how many kids or teens to expect! You can fill out one form per family.

Help Wanted: I’m looking for assistance at my house with house projects and chores. You would be helping with tasks that cause me back pain or that I am restricted from doing (loading/unloading dishwasher, moving laundry, weeding, putting up/taking down decorations, organizing & filing paperwork, light cleaning tasks). Located in Plainfield (about 35 mins south of FCC). Scheduling can be flexible. Approx. 3-6 days per month. If transportation is needed, I can provide rides. Beginning pay will be $16/hr. Free Child's Violin: My Grandson forgot to turn in his violin when he was about 9 years old...he’s now 31! He left it at my house when he recently moved out of Illinois. Other than needing one string repaired or replaced, it’s in excellent condition, hasn’t been used since 2009. Would love to donate to someone who could us it. Contact Adora B. for more info.

Looking for a Kids' table: Young Children and Worship is looking for a small kid-size table for a craft station. If anyone has one they are looking for get rid of, let Pastor Eliza or Terry Huttenlock know!
